Art in Odonien
There is art in Odonien - as far as the eye can see. Odo Rumpf's sculptures lend the Free State its own charm. The artist sees what is left behind by civilization as scrap as a component for his sculptures, and creates a whimsical but also industrial aesthetic in a characteristic rust-brown colour scheme.
The Venue
The Odonian idea is to create a place of encounter and development that is open to all interested parties - without social boundaries. The focus here is on public events, but Odonien can also be rented.Surrounded by sculptures, installations and lush greenery, the Odonian sculpture park forms the heart of the outdoor area. Industrial charm can also be found in the interior.
Accessibility
The Odonien site is basically barrier-free, there are no steps in the entrance and outdoor areas. However, not all paths are paved and a few areas are uneven or have step-like barriers. There is a barrier-free toilet in the beer garden (near the entrance/cash desk) with a turning circle of 1.50 meters and grab rails on both sides. The washbasin is wheelchair accessible. Assisted persons always have free admission.
