In July, we’re returning to Odonien and looking forward to a night full of emotion, energy, and musical stories. For this edition, we’ve invited two artists who, in very different ways, embody exactly what has made BergWacht such a passion for electronic music for many years: Olivier Weiter and Shabiki.

Olivier Weiter (WEITER / Einmusika)

Olivier Weiter has been a part of BergWacht for many years now and, for us, is one of those artists who, like few others, knows how to take people on a musical journey. Many of our guests associate his name with some of the most beautiful musical moments of recent years. His sets thrive on atmosphere, dynamics, and an extraordinary sense of timing.

Inspired by Amsterdam’s underground scene, Olivier has evolved over the years into a fixture of the international progressive, melodic house, and techno scenes. His marathon sets are legendary and have taken him to stages and festivals such as Awakenings, Time Warp, Tomorrowland, Mysteryland, Loveland, and Cocoon. He has also performed sold-out solo shows at Amsterdam’s famous Paradiso and held long-standing residencies at some of the Netherlands’ most renowned clubs.

With his own label, his event series, and his radio show WEITER, he has been consistently pursuing his musical vision for years. Releases on labels such as Einmusika, Steyoyoke, Parquet Recordings, and Armada underscore his significance within the international scene.

For us, however, Olivier is far more than just a renowned artist—he is a longtime companion and friend of the BergWacht family. We’re all the more delighted to welcome him back to Odonien.

Shabiki (Alula Tunes / Alpaka Muzik / Turbo)

With Shabiki, we’re welcoming an artist to BergWacht for the first time who has drawn attention in recent years with her refreshing and versatile approach to electronic music.

A native of Munich, whose stage name dates back to her time in South Africa, she embodies a sound that defies easy categorization. Moving playfully between minimal techno, peak time, indie dance, and psy, she explores various facets of electronic music—always with a clear focus on groove, energy, and movement.

She has also long since made a name for herself as a producer. Releases on labels such as Alula Tunes, Alpaka Muzik, Subios, Turbo, and Dark Face Recordings showcase her musical range and her courage to blend diverse influences. Her sets are playful, driving, and full of surprises—true to her own motto: No Filler, just Killer.
With her positive energy, her feel for the dance floor, and her musical versatility, she’s the perfect fit for a summer night at Odonien, and we’re really looking forward to her first visit to BergWacht.

A night filled with familiar companions, fresh musical inspiration, and a generous dose of that summer-night vibe. From melodic soundscapes to indie dance, peak-time beats, and psy influences, you can expect a diverse journey through the many facets of electronic music.
