On 7 June 2026, we will be celebrating the diversity of Brazilian music and festival culture for the 14th time, featuring fantastic artists from Cologne and Rio de Janeiro. Our town twinning association aims to strengthen the cultural ties between the two partner cities through this event.

Our festival has been a key event for the Cologne-Brazilian scene for years. At this open-air festival in the Odonien artists’ colony, we present both traditional and modern Brazilian music. We are delighted to showcase the astonishingly high quality of Cologne’s unique music scene, for which this festival is also a major driving force. The selection of performances focuses on the cultural metropolis of Rio de Janeiro, which has always been a melting pot of cultures and continues to embody the hope for peaceful, creative coexistence. The outstanding role of music in the development of Brazilian society is represented by both fantastic amateur and professional artists from Cologne.
