Following a nuclear disaster, Tokyo was rebuilt under the name Neo-Tokyo. But social reality has changed. The new metropolis is shaken by violence and chaos. Two teenagers, Kaneda and Tetsuo, become involved in a secret military project. In the process, Tetsuo develops dangerous, superhuman powers that spiral out of control. Whilst the government tries to stop him, the situation escalates...
