ODONISCHE FREITAGSBÜHNE 2026
The "Odonische Freitagsbühne" (Odonien Friday Stage) is a free concert series held every Friday from May through September in the Odonien Sculpture Park. It offers local and regional musicians, especially emerging artists, a valuable opportunity to perform their music for an audience.
Free admission, 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Concerts usually start at 6:30 or 7:00 p.m.
Cool drinks at the Odonien Bar and vegan tarte flambée and fries from Hempies!
All artists perform for tips—donations are highly encouraged. Come by, bring your friends, and enjoy the summer with us.

BRDN
Genre-bending altpop & electronica
In their blend of alt pop and electronica, indie duo BRDN (pronounced burden), combine powerful synth-structures and dreamy guitars with soft vocal sequences and driving beats. Superimposed vocals in different vocal colours lay over the music like a broken yet mesmerizing veil. Woven soundscapes take the listener to the dark side of introspection: self-doubt and the golden hunt for a purpose melt into musical fever dreams with room for interpretation.

The result is a collection of songs that span an impressive, cohesive range—from ’60s Stax soul and West Coast rock to British-influenced (indie) pop and—not to be forgotten—Taha’s North African roots. To this day, Taha and the guys have played more than 100 concerts under his name in a wide variety of configurations and setups—from intimate duets and unplugged concerts to wedding galas and high-energy, the stages come alive thanks to the power and range of Taha's voice, combined with the energy of the band behind him. And every concert leaves behind a crowd of amazed people and new fans.

An electronic / alternative duo from Cairo, Egypt.
Two worlds, one sound.
A blend of catchy melodies and swung electronic rhythms — woven from analog synthesizers, ambient guitars, ethereal vocals, and punchy drums.
The project is the shared outlet of Omar Abdelhady and Majid Serageldin — longtime friends and bandmates from the post-rock / alternative group The Chicken Came First. After the COVID break, the two began performing as Nomarch in the summer of 2022, channelling their alternative roots into something more electronic.
They released their first single, “Light,” with Memphis Records in 2023, followed by “Split” in 2024 and “Face Me” via Wall of Sound in August 2024.
The "Odonische Freitagsbühne" is based on the principles of non-profit status and diversity. Artists from the independent scene and newcomers, regardless of their level of fame or professional experience, are given the opportunity to participate across all genres. There are no costs to the artists from Odonien, and admission for visitors is free.
