ODONISCHE FREITAGSBÜHNE 2026
The "Odonische Freitagsbühne" (Odonien Friday Stage) is a free concert series held every Friday from May through September in the Odonien Sculpture Park. It offers local and regional musicians, especially emerging artists, a valuable opportunity to perform their music for an audience.
Free admission, 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Concerts usually start at 6:30 or 7:00 p.m.
Cool drinks at the Odonien Bar and vegan tarte flambée and fries from Hempies!
All artists perform for tips—donations are highly encouraged. Come by, bring your friends, and enjoy the summer with us. Pommes von Hempies!

Mischa Vernov
Mischa Vernov, a singer-songwriter and indie artist from Cologne, is a multi-talented artist who explores the boundaries of music and wins over his audience with his unique combination of style and expertise.
Although Mischa Vernov is known today as an indie artist, his musical journey began with classical guitar as he embarked on his music studies, which took him to the renowned Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences.
Sufian & Plush Rebel
The rich, soulful tones of the oud meet the expressive versatility of the cello. Longing melodies, infectious rhythms, moving harmonies, and innovative playing techniques come together in elaborate compositions and lovingly detailed arrangements. The result is a refreshing and unique blend of Mediterranean, North African, Jazz, Western Classical, and Pop/Rock influences.
Sufian & Plush Rebel come from very different cultural backgrounds. They started collaborating in 2023 and were immediately equally fascinated by both the commonalities and the differences between them and their musical styles. They each contribute their own compositions and work on their arrangements together – looking for common ground but also for opportunities to challenge musical boundaries, each other, and themselves. Their music tells stories of being on the move and finding home, paints pictures of the past and the future, and explores conflicting emotions.
Reis
Jazz/Fusion
Since mid-2022, “Reis” has been touring the stages, treating audiences to a unique blend of fusion jazz, funk, and subtle punk elements. Unconventional solos, distinctive themes, and odd time signatures define the band’s sound—sometimes playful, sometimes edgy, but always instantly recognizable. The influence of the four musicians’ diverse musical backgrounds is unmistakable: Sebastian (saxophone), Christoph (guitar), Marius (bass), and Laurin (drums) combine their experiences to create a style all their own. Jazz, perhaps—but above all: “Reis.” In 2023, the band released their debut album, “Untiefe,” which took them to numerous stages across Germany and Switzerland—including Berlin, Basel, Leipzig, Dresden, and Essen.

The "Odonische Freitagsbühne" is based on the principles of non-profit status and diversity. Artists from the independent scene and newcomers, regardless of their level of fame or professional experience, are given the opportunity to participate across all genres. There are no costs to the artists from Odonien, and admission for visitors is free.
