Treelin w/ Graham Fitkin

Treeline

On July 6, Odonien Köln will be transformed into a space that blends concert, nature, and community. The focus will be on Graham Fitkin, who will present an extraordinary live composition created in collaboration with a beech tree from Cologne.
Using special sensors, biological impulses from trees are translated into music. The result is a concert that uniquely combines nature, technology, and sound.

TREELINE is not a traditional concert evening. It is an invitation to listen differently, to step away from everyday life for a moment, and to experience music in a completely new atmosphere.

The evening will feature the Cologne-based choir ChorGonzola, inspiring moments, and an open-ended conclusion at Odonien.
Schedule for the Evening

01 |  MUSICAL OPENING
The Cologne-based choir ChorGonzola kicks off the evening with a special live performance, setting the atmosphere that defines TREELINE right from the start.

02 |  INSPIRATION & PERSPECTIVES
Kathrin Henneberger from Plant-for-the-Planet will round out the evening with reflections on forest conservation, climate justice, and the question of how we humans are connected to nature. As a climate activist and former member of the German Bundestag, she brings fascinating perspectives that fit perfectly with the spirit of TREELINE.

03 |  THE CONCERT
The highlight of the evening is Graham Fitkin performing live at the piano with a unique composition created in collaboration with a beech tree from Cologne.

04 | AFTERWARDS AT ODONIEN
After the concert, there will be time for conversation, socializing, and drinks in the special atmosphere of Odonien Cologne.
